Four people have been killed since ‘yellow vest’ protests began on November 17, said French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.
According to Business Insider, over 260 have been wounded, while more than 400 have been arrested.
As reported earlier, the protests have been unfolded since November 17 against fuel price rises. Over 100 thousand people were participating in protests.
French President Emmanuel Macron has already said that the authorities understand the concerns of people, but will not change course. According to him, there are plans to increase the cost of renewable energy and reduce the share of atomic energy by 50% by 2035.
