Strasbourg shooting suspect has been convicted 27 times in France, Germany and Switzerland, the prosecutor of Paris said.
“The suspect was condemned in 2016 to two years and three months in prison for aggravated theft (burglary of a dentist in Mayence and a pharmacy in Engen in Bade-Wurtemberg). He was jailed for one year before he was expelled to France. He was also imprisoned for a year and a half in Basel, Switzerland for robbery,” France 24 reported quoting the prosecutor.
As reported earlier, an unknown opened fire near the Christmas fair in Strasbourg on Tuesday night.
According to the latest data, three people were killed and 13 injured as a result of a shooting. The suspect is allegedly 29-year-old native of Strasbourg.
