The French government delegation told Tokyo that it will strive to integrate Renault and Nissan under single holding company, Bloomberg reported referring to Nikkei.  

According to the source, a delegation including Martin Vial, a Renault director designated by the French government, arrived in Tokyo to discuss the plans and noted that Renault wants to appoint Nissan’s next chairman following the arrest of Carlos Ghosn.

The French government asked Renault to hold a board meeting in the coming days to replace Ghosn.
