Being a bridesmaid is no mean feat, but wearing a dress that has been chosen for you by the bride is arguably one of the simpler requirements. That is, so long as you remember to bring the dress to the wedding, Independent reported.
When one bridesmaid arrived for a wedding in Costa Rica, she realised she’d left her dress back in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
But not all was lost. Her friend Taylor Kenney tweeted the airline she’d flown with, Southwest Airlines, explaining the issue and asking if they might be able to put the dress out on the next flight to Costa Rica.
To Kenney’s surprise, the airline responded: “Alright, let’s do it!”.
Several hours later, she tweeted a photograph of another friend, Rachel, dropping the red candy-striped dress off at William P. Hobby Airport, where a member of staff from Southwest Airlines was waiting, “ready for the hand off”.
