A Venezuelan army helicopter crashed close to capital city Caracas on Saturday, killing all seven people on board, the defense ministry said in a statement, The Guardian reported.

The helicopter was to fly from Caracas to the state of Cojedes when it “went to ground,” the statement said, adding that authorities were investigating the cause of the crash.
