Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump decided to resume trade talks between countries on the basis of equality and mutual respect during a meeting at the G20 in Osaka on Saturday, Xinhua reported.
Trump said he would not introduce new tariffs on Chinese exports.
The teams of both countries on economic and trade talks will reportedly be engaged in the discussion of specific issues.
