At least 44 people were injured in the artificial water park in the city of the Chinese northeastern province of Jilin, RIA Novosti reported quoting city authorities’ statement.
The incident occurred on Monday at 2:40 pm Chinese time.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident was caused by the supply of too much water to the wave generator.
