Grandmother from Texas prevented a massacre in Texas, NBC reported.

According to the source, William Patrick Williams, a 19-year-old from Lubbock, told his grandmother he had bought an AK-47, and planned to “shoot up” a hotel and then take his own life.

Authorities found an AK-47, 17 magazines loaded with ammunition, and multiple knives in the hotel room the 19-year-old had rented, the source added.

The young man was hospitalized and later arrested for false information when buying weapons. As it turned out, when filling out the form, he wrote down the wrong address. Now the man faces up to five years in prison.
