UK plans to issue a coin to mark the UK leaving EU, BBC reported.
The new coins will carry the same design, bearing the words "peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations" but will be updated with the new departure date.
It was previously planned to issue a limited commemorative coin by the original Brexit date - March 29, 2019. This had to be abandoned, as Brexit was postponed several times due to disagreements over the agreement with Brussels.
The new UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who took office in late July, intends to terminate the UK's membership in the EU up to October 31, 2019.
Initially, the UK planned to withdraw from the EU on March 29 but reached a no-Brexit deal. In April, 27 EU member states agreed to grant London a deadline until October 31.
