A dog tried to dig up the grave of its owner in China, Daily Mail reported.

When the 12-year-old pet of the deceased named Huzi went with his family to the place of his burial, the dog did not want to return home and even tried to dig up the grave.

“We went to the tomb together. It walked around the tomb a few times, and then lay there without moving,” grandpa Wu's daughter told Chinese video news outlet Pear, which released the footage. “I saw it starting to tear and it refused to leave when we called it home.”

According to relatives, after the death of the owner, Huzi also refused food and water for three days.
