Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on the EU to start work on creating a free trade agreement with the country.
China and the European Union began talks on an investment deal in 2013, Wang Yi invited the parties to think about a free trade agreement, RIA Novosti reported.
According to him, the process of conducting an economic feasibility study can take at least a year or two, the negotiations themselves can take another few years.
The Minister noted that the EU is negotiating and concluding free trade deals with many countries.
