YEREVAN. – The Armenian government has begun implementing a number of programs in the general education system; in particular, it’s about changes to the requirements for public servants. Minister of Education, Science, Sport and Culture Arayik Harutyunyan announced this today during the National Assembly hearings on "Education Reforms, Upcoming Strategic Challenges."

According to him, some results will be registered early next year, and the "trials will start” in September.

"We expect that the requirements for subjects as well as books will be changed by 2023," the minister said, adding that some changes are already underway; however, they are not systemic but merely "situational."
