YEREVAN. – The criminal case of Varuzhan Mkrtchyan, a supporter of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan who is a defendant in the March 1 case, has been accepted for investigation by the Special Investigation Service, the latter’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As reported earlier, Varuzhan Mkrtchyan, who, according to a video released by police on December 19, had proposed an injured party of the March 1 case to refuse the testimony he had given, and in exchange for money and, later, a position, has been detained.
