A postman from Essex County in southeastern England died of fatigue, delivering letters and gifts for Christmas, RIA Novosti reported referring to Daily Star.

According to the publication, 42-year-old man worked as a driver in a postal company. Before the holidays, the number of letters and parcels that need to be delivered daily increased from 100 to 240. In this mode, the man had to work for several weeks.

On one of these days, the postman returned to the office after 12 hours of continuous work and complained of poor health. In less than an hour, he had a heart attack, as a result of which the man died.
