Renowned comedic actor Hovhannes Azoyan was beaten on January 3 in Yerevan.
Yerevan resident Levon Gharibyan, 31, was the one who beat the actor at around 4am in the Hrazdan Gorge, shamshyan.com reported.
Azoyan told the police that he worked as a director of a company.
A report is being prepared on the fact.
A forensic examination has been appointed.
Police are seeking the suspect Gharibyan.
