World leaders headed for Oman to meet the new state sultan, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the AP reported.
UK PM Boris Johnson and heir to the British throne, Prince Charles, the emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani are amonf the leaders.
The new Sultan of Oman replaced Qaboos bin Said as the latter died after the long illness.
