December surpassed the records for the year in terms of economic activity index. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted this on Facebook.
“The Statistics Committee has released the economic activity index for December 2019,” he also wrote. “Accordingly, December has surpassed all records of the year, providing 10.7-percent economic activity growth.
Moreover, exports increased by 13 percent. Services – by 11.6 percent. Industry – by 6.4 percent. Construction - by 4.9 percent. Salaries - by 5.4 percent.
