The growth in Armenia’s economic activity index is the highest since 2011. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote this on Facebook.

"The Statistics Committee also released the annual economic activity index for 2019," he noted, in particular. “Accordingly, Armenia's economic activity index stood at 107.8% in 2019, annually, which is the highest in the whole period of calculation of this indicator since 2011.

“Industrial production volume increased by 9%, the volume of gross agricultural product decreased by 4.2%, trade turnover increased by 8.9%, services volume increased by 15%, import growth made 10.8%, and export volume increased by 9.4%.

To be honest, based on these data, I hope for an 8-percent GDP growth for 2019. The [respective] indicator will be released in February."
