The Special Investigation Service of Armenia has rejected institution of a criminal case based on the report of former deputy chief of staff of the National Assembly Arsen Babayan on deputy of the National Assembly Arman Babajanyan on the ground of absence of corpus delicti. This is what Spokesperson of the Special Investigation Service Marina Ohanjanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Based on the report that was prepared, the Special Investigation Service decided to reject institution of a criminal case on the ground of absence of corpus delicti,” Marina Ohanjanyan said.

Arsen Babayan had addressed the Prosecutor General of Armenia with an open letter citing the Facebook post that deputy of the National Assembly Arman Babajanyan posted on December 24 and stating that the Facebook post contained elements of part 3 of Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (accusing a judge of committing a particularly grave crime for no reason).
