The Turkish Air Force F-16 fighters, as well as artillery crews, attacked 40 targets in Syrian Idlib in response to the shelling of Turkish troops, which leaved four soldiers killed, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters in Ankara before flying to Ukraine, TASS reported.
Turkish F-16s and howitzers continue to strike at targets of the regime Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, he said adding that nearly 40 points became their goals.
According to him, as a result of the fire, 30-35 Syrians were neutralized.
The president also said that Turkish and Russian military experts are in contact after the shelling of Turkish troops in Idlib.
He expressed his readiness to discuss the latest incident in Idlib with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
