Armenia Constitutional Court Vice-President attends ECHR solemn session in Strasbourg

At the invitation of President of the European Court of Human Rights Linos-Alexandre Sicilianos, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Alvina Gyulumyan on January 31 attended the events dedicated to the launch of the new judicial year in Strasbourg, particularly the seminar-discussion dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights and the solemn session of the European Court of Human Rights, as reported the Constitutional Court of Armenia.

“Among the attendees were representatives of the higher courts, state and local authorities and various international tribunals, as well as academic lawyers of various member states of the European Union and Council of Europe. During the solemn ceremony, President of the European Court of Human Rights Linos-Alexandre Sicilianos and President of the Supreme Court of Ireland Frank Clark addressed the attendees with their welcoming speeches,” the press release reads.

Among others attending the meeting were the chair and vice-chair of Heritage Party’s board Andranik Grigoryan and Narine Dilbaryan, as well as secretary for international affairs Ashot Sargsyan and Spokesperson Rshtun Martirosyan.
