Armenia’s Ambassador to Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan today met with Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyễn Xuan Phuc at the latter’s residence.

As reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, greeting the Ambassador, Prime Minister Phuc stated that there is a positive atmosphere of mutual understanding between the two countries and underscored the importance of development of cooperation in other fields, particularly trade, economy and investments.

Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for the reception, Ambassador Kazhoyan congratulated him on the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on accession to the United Nations Security Council and on assuming the presidency of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Vahram Kazhoyan touched upon the priority areas of the Armenian-Vietnamese cooperation and stated that Armenian companies are very interested in participating in the 2020 Vietnam Expo, which may serve as a good basis for the export of Armenian products to not only Vietnam, but also the countries of the ASEAN.
