During the visit to The Hague, Minister of Justice of Armenia Rustam Badasyan yesterday had a meeting with Registrar of the International Court of Justice Philippe Gautier.

As reported the Ministry of Justice, the minister briefly informed his counterpart about the latest developments in Armenia, including the main directions for judicial and legal reforms in Armenia following the non-violent and velvet revolution and discussed with Philippe Gautier the paths for expansion of the cooperation between Armenia and the International Court of Justice.

Today, on the second day of his working visit, Minister Badasyan visited the Netherlands Helsinki Committee and had a discussion with experts on judicial and legal reforms and reforms in the law-enforcement sector. The activities of the Netherlands Helsinki Committee were presented during the meeting, and Rustam Badasyan touched upon the strategy on judicial and legal reforms and the anti-corruption strategy and the reforms programs that have been highly appreciated by experts.
