Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan today received the relatives of fixed-term serviceman Vahram Avagyan, who died at a military unit of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) on January 30.

Once again, the defense minister expressed condolences and reaffirmed that he will be consistent with the revelation of all the details of the incident within the scope of his powers. Davit Tonoyan informed the relatives that the Defense Army has applied disciplinary measures and dismissed several officials. He also emphasized that the Ministry of Defense will support the objective preliminary investigation within the scope of its powers.
