YEREVAN. – Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan today received Swedish Ambassador to Armenia Ulrik Tidestrom, the Ministry of Environment informs.
Grigoryan noted that the two countries have great prospects for expanding cooperation within the framework of environmental protection policy.
During the meeting, they discussed the development of a roadmap of measures necessary for approximation of EU directives on the principles of expanded responsibility of producers.
The issues of Lake Sevan and the creation of a single information system for receiving online flowmetry data were also on the meeting agenda.
Ambassador Tidestrom stressed that he attaches great importance to exchanging experience between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the parties also referred to the cooperation in the harmonious management of chemicals.
