YEREVAN. – Following the dismissal of Jon Farkhoyan on January 22, Anri Vardanyan has been appointed to Head of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, according to the official website of the committee.
Vardanyan is the son-in-law of former Military Prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan.
Since 2018, Anri Vardanyan has been serving as head of the State Revenue Committee customs office at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan.
