YEREVAN. – By the invitation of President Armen Sarkissian, King Abdullah II of Jordan will arrive in Armenia on February 10, for the first time, and on a two-day official visit, the President's Administration's Public Relations Department reported.
The official welcoming ceremony for the King of Jordan will take place at the presidential residence, followed by a meeting between President Sarkissian and King Abdullah. The two leaders will also deliver a speech on religion and tolerance.
During the visit, the King of Jordan will also meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will host him at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
King Abdullah will also visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.
