Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Varos Simonyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia Jun Yamada.

The agenda and organizational issues in regard to the upcoming visit of the delegation led by Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa to Armenia were considered during the meeting.

The main goal of the delegation’s visit is to consider the prospects for effective economic cooperation between Japan and Armenia and expansion of business relations.

At the end of the meeting, once again, the parties affirmed their willingness to combine their efforts and do their best to help enhance the economic cooperation between Japan and Armenia.
