YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Suren Papikyan, will head the "Yes" campaign headquarters for the referendum on constitutional amendments. Papikyan's spokesperson Armine Muradyan confirmed this information to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Yesterday Papikyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the issue of setting up a campaign headquarters was discussed at the board meeting of the ruling Civil Contract party.

The President has signed a decree that a referendum on constitutional amendments will take place in Armenia on April 5. These amendments provide that the powers of the Constitutional Court members who were elected before April 2018 shall be terminated. Seven of the current nine members of the Constitutional Court were elected before April 2018.
