The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia has received a new motion for the release of owner of Fifth Channel TV channel Armen Tavadyan through persona pledge, as reported Pastinfo.

According to Tavadyan’s attorney, former deputy speaker of the National Assembly Arpine Hovhannisyan, former Ombudsman of Artsakh Ruben Melikyan, first Ombudsman of Armenia Larisa Alaverdyan, political technologist Karen Kocharyan, member of the Alternative Projects Group Elinar Vardanyan, economist Vardan Bostanjyan, military-political figure Gevorg Gevorgyan, political scientist Artsrun Pepanyan, writer and publicist Spartak Gharabaghtsyan and Executive Director of Fifth Channel TV Harutyun Harutyunyan have given their pledges.

Besides the new motion for the release of Tavadyan through personal pledge, the decision of the investigator of the Special Investigation Service on imposing attachment on the property of Tavadyan has also been appealed.

As reported earlier, attachment has been imposed on the property of Armen Tavadyan.
