The Chinese Ambassador to Israel, Du Wei, who was found dead in his residence, had died due to health reasons, China Central Television (CCTV) reported.

It is stated that the cause of death of the ambassador requires a long-term inspection and confirmation.

As reported earlier, the Chinese diplomat was found dead in his home in Herzliya, Israel, on Sunday morning.
