YEREVAN. – A single administrative register is needed in the tourism sector. Mekhak Apresyan, President of the Armenian Tourism Federation, stated this at Tuesday’s special sitting of the National Assembly.
According to him, the current situation shows the importance of creating such a register.
"If it [single administrative register] had been before the coronavirus, the authorities would have known the exact number of hotels and guesthouses," he added.
