The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has approved funding for the readiness support and preparation support grant program launched by the Ministry of Environment of Armenia.
This program is the first grant program by GCF in Armenia "green" funding and is unprecedented in its size.
Within the framework of the program, the GCF has provided a grant of about US$660,000 to support the promotion of "green" funding in Armenia and the creation of a more favorable environment in the country.
