Australia's largest state, New South Wales, has reported four COVID-19 new cases since late May, Reuters reported.
Now the total number of infections in the state is close to 7,300, while 102 people have died so far.
One of the cases of infection is related to a local resident: he is a 20-year-old man who did not attend the Black Lives Matter protests in Sydney.
“The virus is likely still circulating in the community. People with mild symptoms or no obvious symptoms can unknowingly pass the infection on to other people,” NSW Health said.
Two out of four new cases are related to travelers who have already been quarantined in a hotel, and one case is linked to an outbreak of infection in a school.
Australia is known as one of the countries most successfully fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, with many parts of the country claiming to have eliminated the disease already. And by July, economic activity will fully resume in the country.
