China has confirmed 28 COVID-19 new cases per day, TASS reported referring to the Chinese National Health Commission.

According to it, 265 COVID-19 patients are in Chinese medical institutions - including nine severe cases. 

Only four of the cases are imported, while the remaining 24 cases are local.

The number of infected since December 2019 exceeded 83.2 thousand. According to statistics, 94.11% of infected people have already recovered.

Since April 15, the country has officially had no deaths - the mortality rate is 5.56% (over 4.6 thousand people died).
