South Korea has confirmed the COVID-19 second wave, BBC reported referring to the head of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Jung Eun-kyeong.
According to him, the first wave lasted up until April.
New cases have grown since May, including outbreaks at nightclubs in Seoul.
The country has confirmed a total of 12,438 COVID-19 cases. The death toll is 280, while the number of people recovered is 10,881.
