YEREVAN. Three people were hospitalized following a car accident in Yerevan on Tuesday.

The accident occurred at 00:10 when Toyota Rav and Vaz 21collided on Vagharshyan Street in Yerevan, photo journalist Gagik Shamshayn told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Karen Sahakyan, 36, Zhanna Gevorgyan, 24 and Albert Poghsoyan, 23 were taken to “Armenia” medical centre.

Officers of Yerevan traffic police arrived at the scene and transferred the crashed vehicles to the impound lot of police. Cars were stuck in 1,5-hour traffic jam on Davitashen bridge due to the accident.
