YEREVAN. – Individual money transfers to Armenia in the first quarter of 2011 totaled $251 million, 24% up as compared to the same period of 2010, says the report issued by the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).
Money transferred from Russia totaled $195 million against $155 million last year. A total of $ 18 million was transferred to Armenia from U.S. against $14 million last year. Kazakhstan is the third with $4.2 million transferred against $2.8 in 2010.
