Spanish doctors have discovered one of the COVID-19 early signs.

According to an article published at the JAMA Dermatol, mouth rash could be one of the early symptoms.

Doctors from the University Hospital Ramon y Cajal in Madrid studied the course of the disease in 21 patients with a rash (from 40-69 years old), finding that six patients (29%) had enanthema - a local lesion of the human mucosa.

The authors noted it is too early to draw conclusions about a direct link between the rash and COVID-19 since a very small number of patients were studied and there was no control group, TASS reported.
