YEREVAN. - Union of Armenian Travel Agencies has started offering tourists regional tour packages, including both Armenia and Azerbaijan, deputy head of the union Yeghishe Tanashyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, the packages are in great demand among tourists. He stressed that Armenia should seek to develop regional tourism, cooperating with Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia. “This is the future of tourism. At the moment about 30% of tourists is visiting Armenia by a regional package,” Tanashyan said.
