The protocol amending an agreement on visa facilitation between Georgia and Turkey was signed in Georgia on Tuesday.
The signing ceremony was attended by Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the agreement, Georgian citizens will be able to cross the border with an identity card from July 1, 2011.
