This January-May, Armenia registered the third increase in US dollar exchange rate among the post Soviet states, says the report of Belarus Belapan agency.
In first five months of 2011 the official exchange rate of US dollar grew by 65,9% in Belarus; by 3,9% in Uzbekistan; by 3,67% in Armenia (from AMD 363,44 to AMD 376,78 per $1); by 3,62% in Tajikistan; and by 0,11% in Ukraine. The exchange rate has not changed in Turkmenistan but fell down in Azerbaijan by 1,07%; by 1,46% in Kazakhstan; by 3,61% in Kirgizstan; by 3,95% in Moldova; by 6,04% in Georgia; by 7,11% in Estonia; by 7,36% in Lithuania; by 7,9% in Russia; and by 8,04% in Latvia.
