The Hungarian parliament passed a law on Tuesday that banned the adoption of children by same-sex couples, Reuters reported.
Now only traditional married couples can adopt children. Single people will be able to adopt a child only with special permission from the government.
According to Reuters, same-sex marriage is prohibited in Hungary.
