YEREVAN. - In order to overcome political crisis, Armenian National Congress (ANC) reiterates its readiness to dialogue with the authorities on snap elections agenda, ANC spokesman Arman Musinyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, responding to ruling RPA spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov’s statement.

“After fulfillment of the three demands, ANC reiterates its readiness to dialogue with the authorities on snap elections agenda, in order to overcome political crisis. We will wait for a response of the authorities in face of Serzh Sargsyan or people authorized by him. We will not consider all the other statements official position of the authorities,” said Musinyan.

He added that the statements of different RPA representatives cannot be considered as authorities’ official response to ANC.

Earlier, MP, spokesman of ruling RPA party Eduard Sharmazanov stated:
“It is commendable that the dialogue with the non-parliamentary opposition runs openly and publicly, while positive results have become tangible. In current situation, when solving a variety of existing problems, views and proposals of non-parliamentary opposition may be taken into account as well. I think that these positive developments and the current atmosphere should be preserved. It requires joint efforts and willingness displayed by the sides. The sides should adopt constructive stance for the process not to reach deadlock. The proposal to hold early elections is ungrounded and harmful as it may destroy the ongoing positive process. State structures are ready to discuss and make joint decision on all the proposals of the Armenian National Congress regarding economic, social, political, geopolitical, or any other field. Moreover, the Republican Party of Armenia is ready to voice and defend in the National
Assembly [parliament] all proposals of the Armenian National Congress, which, being realistic, will help tackle the problems of our people and will require legislative changes.”
