YEREVAN.- Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Director for Continental Europe of the French Foreign Ministry Philippe Lefort discussed issued related to bilateral relations in Yerevan.

The sides stressed importance of high level contacts expanding relations between the states. The officials discussed issues related to cooperation in the field of culture, economy and inter-parliamentary cooperation, touched upon talks on Armenia’s associate membership in the EU.

Minister Nalbandian pointed out France’s positive role in the Karabakh peace process.
