YEREVAN.- Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received on Friday Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Neighbourhood and the Western Balkans in the EU’s External Action Service, Miroslav Lajčák.

Minister Ohanyan stressed that Armenia’s defense policy is coherent with values proclaimed by new European Neighborhood Policy adding that army of Nagorno-Karabakh is undergoing reforms as well.  

He noted that after getting independence Nagorno-Karabakh created mechanisms of democratic and civil control over the armed forces, ministry’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
