YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Neighbourhood and the Western Balkans in the EU’s External Action Service Miroslav Lajcak on Friday.
Nalbandian congratulated him on the appointment to the new post and expressed confidence that Lajcak’s diplomatic experience will contribute to Armenia’s further cooperation with European External Action Service and the EU.
The sides attached significance to the progress in the talks on Armenia-EU association agreement and exchanged views on preparations for talks on creation of a free trade zone.
Lacjak stressed the talks on facilitation of visa regime will start in autumn, the press service of Armenia’s Foreign Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
