A common effort to share information is vital because this is a fight between humanity and the virus, and no country can isolate itself, Gates said.

He added that the pandemic has generated a level of debate and conspiracy theories that he has never imagined

We went through such a difficult situation that people were looking for simplified answers, he added.

Bill Gates and his wife Melinda run a charitable foundation that focuses on the fight against dangerous diseases in developing countries, health and education programs in the US.
