YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister will leave for Moscow on Saturday to participate in the meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Foreign Ministers.

The sides will discuss Karabakh conflict resolution at the meeting, the press service for Armenia’s Foreign Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Robert Bradtke (U.S.) and Bernard Fassier (France) paid a visit to the region on June 6-9. The mediators also took part in the monitoring in the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces.

Presidents of Russia, France and Armenia issued a joint statement on Nagorno-Karabakh within the framework of G8 Summit, on May 26.

“We call upon the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to demonstrate their political will by finalizing the Basic Principles during their upcoming summit in June.  Further delay would only call into question the commitment of the sides to reach an agreement.  Once an agreement has been reached, we stand ready to witness the formal acceptance of these Principles, to assist in the drafting of the peace agreement, and then to support its implementation with our international partners,” they said in the statement.

The Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents are expected to meet in Kazan on June 25.
