USAID continues to support Armenia in saving lives in the fight against COVID-19. The US Embassy in Yerevan has noted this on Facebook.

“Most recently, USAID’s partner, the American University of Armenia, has provided 50 oxygen concentrators and four mobile X-ray machines to the Ministry of Health to help improve the level of care for COVID-19 patients.

U.S. Ambassador Lynne M. Tracy joined Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan and other partners in a visit to the Republican Center for Humanitarian Assistance to see the equipment before it goes out to medical facilities throughout Armenia. The United States remains committed to supporting Armenia in the fight against COVID-19,” the embassy added in part.
